Meet The McKinneys

MeetTheMcKinneys was born in 2004 as a way to show family around the country what we were up to. We were about to have a baby (Gabby) and it was a clever way to show how Amber was changing through the pregnancy.

After Gabby was born we continued updating the website weekly with a picture of Gabrielle. That type of content drew a lot of attention from family and friends. In fact, when I got too busy to update the site, I started getting “hate mail” (I won’t name any names…).

Finally I was turned onto blogging and more importantly blogging software. I purchased a domain name (meetthemckinneys.com) and kaboom. We had a family website complete with email addresses.

The site is meant to be interactive. Posting comments is encouraged for family and friends.
